Theoretically I should have more time being under lockdown, but it’s been difficult to motivate to write with everything going on in the world and I just feel very, very tired. The Philippines, the 13th most populous nation in the world, is woefully unprepared for a pandemic; we don’t even have a hospital in our city. The United States, where my family lives, has the most covid-19 cases in the world. Korea, where I also have a lot of family, is giving me some hope. It seems like most anything I could write about seems trivial in the face of this global pandemic. We just finished our 17th day of lockdown, and I’m exhausted from following all the news. How are you doing?
