We have three hours until our flight departs, and I’m beyond exhausted from everything that has happened the past two days. The logistics, travel, and so many fox/chicken/corn situations we had to resolve last minute. I don’t have it in me to write the post I had planned. We will be traveling and will be back soon!

Hi Mrs. Bee! We will be traveling cross country from West Coast to East Coast in a few days, after a 2 year Covid travel hiatus. Would you please please share your tips for safe flying? Specifically snack/meal/drink ideas and tips for kids in the same age range as yours? I am at a loss as to what to pack food/drink-wise for the plane ride.
We have a 7am departure (so leaving our house before 5am) and 5-6 hour flight time. So breakfast and lunch will be an issue. Our kids only received their first dose last week so not fully protected.
Please help!! We leave saturday!

One idea I had was to use their old straw Foogos cups so they can drink water without shifting their mask entirely or tilting their heads back.
Did you feel comfortable with your kids waiting to remove their masks to eat when others were masked and not eating? Did they eat under their masks? What kinds of food or snacks worked well for that?
thank you for any advice!!!
