Legs are missing a measurement, help!

Not only the legs are missing a measurement, at “headboard” should 13 inch be 7 inch and 7 inch should be 13 inch. The same at “foot”, 13 inch should be 4,5 inch and 4,5 should be 13 inch. At least, according to me. But the bed is stil lovely!!!

The legs should be 6.2 inches I think.

So I’m trying make this right now despite the missing measurements. I think the missing measurement for the legs at the foot of the bed is 5″ (that’s what worked for me). And the missing measurement for the legs at the head of the bed might be 8″. I’m short some cardboard and haven’t cut out yet. I think 7 will be too short and 9 too long. Might try 9 and then I can cut off an inch if need be. I’ll try to update once I’ve finished.

So I successfully made this bed. The dimensions for the legs at the foot are 6″×5″. The dimensions for the legs at the head of the bed are 9″×6″.

Thx Jennifer. But I’m sorry, the measurements are still not okay. Look at the headboard and footboard, the hight and weight measures are exchanged. (Sorry if my English is poor, I’m dutch ;-))

This is a great idea, but my daughter has so many sock monkies, there would be lil cardboard beds filling her room Great idea though!! Love it!

I have to say I saw this on facebook a while back and couldn’t get it out of my head so 2 days ago I bought strong supawood boards and I made this exact bed for my 2 and half year old daughter yesterday. Best thing ever. This week I’m going to buy the paint and paint the bed for her in her favorite theme. Thank you. I didn’t go by the measurements. I took the design and just went with it I am very pleased with myself and my daughter loves her new bed

the measurements were a bit off but I just snipped here and there and worked it out.

I then used the measurements as a guide to cut felt and cover the cardboard. It looks great! Im so excited about giving it to my four year old.

I have made it and it is amazing. Though since I am only an 11year old girl it is a little rough around the edges but I love it! My grandparents don’t appreciate the mess but my lovely monkey toy – Charlie – absolutely adores it!
