I am so excited for Halloween this year. LeLe has not stopped talking about it since last year, and this year Little Bug will be able to join in on the fun. I typically don’t dress up (introvert) but I love the idea of coordinating sibling costumes. I plan on dressing LeLe as Anna from Frozen, and she is insisting that Little Bug is Olaf. She is also adamant that Mr. Cereal is Elsa and that I should be a bat. I’m not sure that we will be able to pull that all off, but I’ve found a few sibling costume ideas that I think are adorable.
1) Cop & Robber | 2) Mickey and Minnie | 3) Dorothy and the Lion | 4) Peas and Carrot | 5) Anna and Olaf | 6) Puppy and Kitten | 7) Peter Pan and Tinkerbell | 8) Harry Potter and Hedwig | 9) Santa and a Reindeer | 8) Train and Engineer
What costumes are you considering for your siblings?

For the first year of Halloween matching costumes they were both Mickey Mouse. Last year they dressed up as characters from the show Dinosaur Train (Buddy and Shiny). This year LO1 wants to be Ash and LO2 might be Charmander. He is also considering being the Kratts brothers from Wild Kratts.

I’m trying to talk my son into dressing like the Mad Hatter, but he is 5 now and has opinions.
I’d then dress my daughter like Alice.
I’ve also thought about the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who – but that seems like a lot of work.

@yin: Oh! Love these ideas!
@theknest: Haha, I am dreading when the kids actually want to be something specific and I can’t change their minds… Love the Grinch and Cindy-Lou idea. That would be so cute!
@merriment: Awesome idea! I should have a follow up with pictures after Halloween!

@bluestriped bee: Haha, I hope they love it! I only have a couple of years left to do this with my littles, so I am taking full advantage!

I am hoping to make LO1 Old MacDonald and LO2 one of his animals. I need to buy overalls and a straw hat for LO1 and see what kind of animal costumes they may have at the consignment shop for LO2.

Last year older DS was a fireman and younger DS was a dalmatian. DH made their wagon a fire truck.

One year, the kids were Elsa and Olaf. Last year, they were a unicorn and a rainbow. I don’t know if I’ll be able to swing it again this year when I have two with opinions!

We’ve done family costumes since DS was born. DD was born this year so she gets to be included in our fun! We’re going as The Incredibles this year. Who knew trying to find a plain red pajama was so difficult or expensive! The search continues!!

@Mrs. Cereal: I’ve seen that, but I rather not pay $18 for it, if possible. Thanks for helping though!!
