Bath toys are the toys that get played with most often in our house, since we take a bath with Charlie every night. We also play with regular household items such as plastic cups, colanders, funnels, water bottles (with the sports cap) and empty shampoo bottles to mix it up without cluttering our bathtub with more toys. But we do have some tried and true favorite bath toys, which you’ll find below!

1. Rub a Dub Stickers for the Tub – These are actually foam cut outs and not stickers, and they’re really easy for babies to play with.  You should take out some of smaller pieces if your baby is younger. The connecting road and vehicles provide tons of imaginative play for even much older toddlers and kids. Charlie loves to say vroom and honk honk!

2. Yookidoo Flow N Fill Spout – This toy has been a hit with Charlie since day one because it allows you to have water running without keeping the faucet on.

3. Boon Odd Duck – We have several rubber duckies, and as simple as they are, Charlie still loves them.

4. California Baby Bubble Bath/Bubbles – This California Baby bubble bath comes with a wand so you can blow bubbles. Bath time is the perfect time to blow bubbles, and what kid doesn’t love bubbles?

5. Sesame Street Fizzy Tub Colors – These tablets allow you to create cool colors with your bathwater! Unfortunately Charlie is obsessed with drinking bath water so we don’t use them, but I love to give them as gifts!

6. Fisher Price Hide Inside Bath Friends – This is Charlie’s current favorite bath toy. It’s too difficult for toddlers to put the individual pieces together, but he still loves it anyway. I like to pretend that each character is eating the other and it cracks him up to no end.

7. Munchkin Caterpillar Stacking Cups – Any stacking cup with holes in the bottom make great bath toys, but these are particularly fun because they connect into a caterpillar and have a variety of holes so the water runs out differently from each cup.

8. Skip Hop Dunck – This is a great toy that doubles as a rinse cup. I’ve found having a rinse cup in the bathtub is essential since Charlie hates shampooing his hair, and I have to rinse out the suds little by little.

9. Edushape Floating Blocks – If I weren’t on a toy buying moratorium, these would be on my wishlist!

10. Whale of a Time Rubadub – This is another toy that we don’t own, but it seems like a ton of fun!

You may notice that I didn’t include the popular squeeze toys that fill with water. Unless you’re really diligent about keeping them clean, they get moldy and yucky really fast, so I find it’s just better to keep them out of the tub.
