Drake started 1st grade this September and with that came many new and exciting changes — one of them eating lunch at school every day. I have been blessed not to have had to pack lunch more than 2 times a week for over 6 years, and now I have to pack it 5 times a day for an entire school year! To say I am overwhelmed by the idea is a bit of an understatement. Drake is also my pickiest and least adventurous eater of the 3, though the good thing is that he will eat the same things day in and day out. While that means I can just pack a trusty sunflower butter and jelly sandwich every day, I want to try harder for Drake as well as myself. Trying to find a good variety of veggies, protein, dairy, and grains (fruit thankfully is the easiest) can get tricky, so I want to bake and pre-cook different things that I can store and pop into Drake’s lunch box weekly. These are some things I hope Drake enjoys!
