Peter Pan is one of those stories that I read as a kid and really resonated with me. I loved the idea of flying through the London sky on my way to Neverland. In some ways I still feel like I am forever that little kid trapped inside an aging body looking for that moment to fly to that “second star to the right, and straight on till morning”. When I had Drake I imagined him as a Lost Boy finding his way home and all the lovely mischief and delight that Peter would be able to show him. I always thought a Peter Pan room for a little boy would be such a fun theme. Drake is getting older so I’m mostly looking for little details I can add to the room while not making it too young for him. I’m hoping he can grow with the room and always embrace the magic I feel the story of Peter Pan embodies. Here are some ideas I found while browsing Etsy to add those magical touches to his room.
I love this Peter Pan Lightbox (the Harry Potter one is beautiful too) but the price is some what prohibitive – this Peter Pan Shadow Box is also pretty awesome.
Peter Pan has some amazing quotes and finding ways to display them around the room would be pretty neat too and a good way to tie back to the book.
I have seen a few rooms with compasses around the ceiling fan, which tie in neatly with the nautical prowess of Captain Hook.
A map of Neverland seems like a must.
Pillow covers also might be a good way to display some of the more iconic quotes.
A clock of Big Ben seems like it would be a functional piece while still adding to the whimsy and magic of the theme.
A while ago I created a few ships from this template I bought online. Im thinking of hanging them with some clouds off the ceiling with some fishing line.
Maybe even just placing these cut outs on top of his bookshelf or inside a shadowbox might make a cute display.
I’m still planning out the ideas in my head, but I hope some of these plans can come together this summer when I have more time to really try things out.

I’ve always loved Peter Pan and the items you linked to are beautiful (I might have to find a way to get that Harry Potter light box for myself). One of my favorite purchases ever was a small Peter Pan watercolor that I bought off a street vendor while I was studying abroad.
